Are you a lawyer looking for new opportunities?  Do you need to meet with a Legal Recruiter?  If so, you have found the right place!  Our goal at Lexacount Search is to create meaningful relationships between qualified candidates and law firms or legal departments. Our legal recruiting experience has helped hundreds of men and women achieve their long-term career goals, and delivered top talent to many leading U.S. firms and companies.  As a candidate, do you have questions about how we build those relationships or the details of the search process? We’ve developed a list of legal recruiter FAQs to educate you about our competitive process:

What services does Lexacount provide its candidates?

Our Lexacount Search recruitment team customizes its search based on candidates’ needs and goals. We help write and edit resumes to enable candidates to put their best foot forward. We also coach candidates through the interview and offer process, and work with them to develop confident communication skills.

What are the benefits of using Lexacount?

The Lexacount Search legal recruitment team has an extensive knowledge-base that extends beyond current legal market trends. We know the specific hiring needs at top quality law firms and corporations. We listen to listen to our clients and present candidates who can provide a competitive-edge and solutions to their needs.

How confidential is the recruiting process?

Lexacount Search adheres to a strict confidentiality and privacy policy. We do not discuss candidate information with third parties without a candidate’s permission. We remind clients about the confidential nature of the hiring process. Discretion is one of our highest priorities.

What is the average length of a lawyer resume?

Law school graduates should keep their resume to a page in length. However, if you have solid work experience or extensive work history, your resume can longer. It is not necessary to squeeze your resume onto one page if you have enough substance for it to be longer.

Can Lexacount Search help recent law school graduates?

The Lexacount Search recruitment team encourages new law school graduates to work with their school’s career services office or their local bar association. Lexacount Search clients generally require a certain minimum number of years of experience in a particular field of practice. We do have contract projects that require less work experience from time to time so we welcome your resume and will keep it on file and be in touch if such an opportunity arises.
